E-TECHNOLOGY: MOTUL has been developing high performance ester-based lubricants for several decades.
This choice of esters combined with an optimum selection of other high-performance synthetic base oils and an innovative additive package working in perfect synergy forms E-technology.
This technology allows maximum engine power to be extracted without compromising on reliability and wear.
- Engine power gain of over 1.3% while maintaining wet clutch efficiency.
Maximum gearbox protection through innovative anti-wear additive technology: FZG test result = FLS>14: The FZG test (Forschungsstelle für Zahnrader und Getriebebau) evaluates the lubricating capacity and anti-wear protection of the fluid between two gears subjected to a variable torque. The lubricant is then rated according to its "Failure Load Stage" (FLS) ranging from FLS 1 (very poor result) to FLS 14 (outstanding result).
