Restom®KitPoly is the COMPLETE TREATMENT for the treatment of FIBER AND RESINE tanks that have already contained fuel.

Properties

Suitable for polyester, carbon, vinylester, ABS, polyamide and epoxy tanks
This type of tanks is characteristic of Spanish, Italian and sometimes Japanese bikes (Martin, Roca hulls ...) years before 1980
Also found in craft tanks for special vehicles (buggies, off-road, rally, light aircraft). .)
Suitable Diesel, SP95, SP98, 100LL Avgas, GNR, E85 Biofuels and SP95-E10
⚠ Not suitable for polypropylene flexible tanks: off-road motorcycles after 1980, recent automobile tanks.

Protects your tank for a long time by coating a thin layer of resin on its entire inner surface

Implementation information

Restom®Kit POLY contains:

2 Restom® SDT 4060 degreasers (no risk for polyester as it is solvent-free)
Restom® EIR 2000 Resin / Hardener Set

The treatment is simple to perform and does not require tools.

IF TREATMENT IS ALREADY PRESENT

If a treatment is already present in the tank (eg original coating, or other resin or paint that peels off, etc ...), proceed with the stripping of it with the help of Restom® DKPANT 4031 . Consult us for the procedure to follow.

Our advices :

when the capacity of the tank is "limit" compared to the proposed kits, take the kit of greater size , the structure of the polyester tending to "consume" a larger quantity of resin
Tanks with partitions: take a kit of larger size especially if you are close to the maximum capacity that can handle the kit
Light aviation tanks: consult us before purchase , some tanks already having a soft product treatment that will have to be eliminated before treatment

⚠ Recommendations

New polyester tanks: do not use only the resin alone (EIR 2000) but a Poly Kit WITH degreaser.
