Moto Vision offers you fibreglass racing polys that are lighter than the original fairing and adapted to track standards at an unbeatable price with the TFP range.
Features of the TFP primed motorbike poly
From Asia, this manufacturer offers a low, attractive price for motorcyclists whose budget is a priority. The primed version contains less gelcoat and incorporates primer instead, resulting in a lighter poly with improved flexibility and finish. This fairing also saves you one preparation step. All you have to do is sand the part before painting.
The Ducati 848 1098 1198 front mudguard requires adjustments and advanced preparation of the substrate for a good finish. Adjustment work should be a detail for you. You'll need tools and a minimum of knowledge to fit the poly. After the first fitting, heat the motorbike to relax the product so that it takes the shape of your motorbike. This will make the second fitting much easier.
The poly is supplied without a fixing kit. You'll find everything you need in our screws and fixings section.
Advantages of TFP poly for your Ducati 848 1098 1198
- Low price
- Already primed = no sanding of mould edges, ready for sanding before painting
- Lightweight and more flexible than Gelcoat
- Complete TFP range for each motorbike (mudguards, saddles, tank shell, front kit)
- 2 options for rear shells : 1 closed shell for track use with bonded foam seat or 1 shell that retains the original seat for most motorbikes
- Wheel arch included if the seat shell requires it
- Carbon/Kevlar reinforcements on the fixing points
- Optimised for the original windscreen or to be fitted with Moto Vision windscreens
- Fast delivery for products in stock
Disadvantages of TFP motorbike fairings
- Two layers of fibre mat and a single layer of braided
- Adjustment of the components is necessary : modifications to be made to suit your exhaust system, kickstand rarely provided in the boot so needs to be cut out with a tool, anchoring points need to be adjusted or better adapted
- Fixing points not drilled
- Long times for restocking if parts are not in stock
- For the front kit, individual parts are not available
