Steel rust remover Restom® PAC 2030

Restom® PAC 2030 steel phosphate remover dissolves and removes rust thanks to its high content of corrosion inhibitors. It restores the original appearance of corroded steel. The stripped parts must then be protected by a phosphating primer such as an anti-corrosion paint.
Proposed packaging for Restom PAC 2030: 0.5L, 1L or 5L
Use for rust removal:
- Dilute 50% in water.
- Apply with a brush or by dipping, without letting the product dry, reapply if necessary.
- Rinse with water.
- Protect the metal with our Phosprim 4090 or an anti-corrosion paint like our EAF 2092.
Use to clean radiators and cooling systems:
- Dilute to 20% (1L PAC 2030 for 4L of water)
- Fill the cooling circuit leaving a vent.
- Leave to act until the end of the reaction (2 hours maximum). Run the engine at idle from time to time to bring the solution up to about 60°C.
- It descales and removes rust in a single action.
- Rinse thoroughly with water (take the mother solution to a waste disposal centre or keep it to derust other parts).
Use 1L of Restom PAC 2030 for a 5L cooling circuit, 2L for a 10L circuit.
Properties of Restom® PAC 2030 steel phosphate remover
- Works very quickly, even on very thick layers.
- Does not attack rubber, Klingerite, copper, etc., and can therefore be used on both assembled and disassembled circuits.
- 1 litre of Restom PAC 2030 dissolves about 1 kg of limestone.
- Never let the product dry on the part and rinse well with water after use.
For the cooling system, the use of Restom AnticoRadia 6080 is recommended after cleaning.
