An additional aluminium silencer holder from the BMW accessories range (BMW product code 77 11 8 564 071) must be fitted and covers for the threaded mountings of the main frame (BMW product code 77 25 8 536 857) are also recommended. The lowered slip-on silencer with link pipe can only be fitted if the pillion frame is removed.
