Akrapovic BMW R 1300 GS/ Adventure 23-25 ??2-into-1 header made of high-quality titanium with carbon fiber heat shield. For use on closed circuits only. Improves performance while maintaining low weight. The use of larger diameter pipes than the standard factory line and the removal of the catalytic converter result in better flow. The pre-silencer promises a unique aural sensation, emitting a deep racing sound that emerges from the boxer engine. The upgrade results in a weight reduction of 54.84% (3.4 kg) compared to the standard factory component. When combined with the Akrapovic Line slip-on silencer (titanium), this header increases power by 3.1 kW (4.2 hp) at 7,800 rpm and torque by 5.9 Nm at 3,000 rpm, according to Akrapovic test bench tests compared to a stock exhaust. Quick installation, but requires a mapping change. When installing the optional header on Euro5+ motorcycles (2 lambda sensors), the check engine light will illuminate after detecting a deviation from the stock catalyst settings.
