What is the Healtech SDE-01 steering damper eliminator module used for?

If you regularly ride on track and are looking to replace the original electronic steering damper, you risk the FI warning light coming on. Disconnecting the original damper from the bike’s main wiring harness will immediately cause the FI light to illuminate (which could hide serious issues related to the bike or the engine).

This is where the SD Eliminator steering damper eliminator module is very useful: simply plug it into the original damper’s connector and you’re ready to ride. The supplied instructions should always be followed carefully.

After disconnecting the factory electronic unit, we recommend using a quality aftermarket steering damper from a reputable brand or supplier (such as HyperPro, Ohlins, etc.)!
