Protection of the brake lever is an essential protection!
FIM regulations for the MotoGP and Superbike recently imposed this device which allows, in a side collision with another bike, not accidentally pinch the front brake, causing an increased risk of falls and dangerous.

Increasingly common on track bikes, so this protection prevents this risk and most pilots French championships have already adopted this security!
