At the beginning of July, Morgane, Chris and Raph from our team had the opportunity to welcome the 2021 BMW S 1000 RR in our workshop. Our objective? To test the parts from our catalogue dedicated to this bike. Thanks to Jérôme, @ridereek on Instagram, for the loan of his bike.

Before going into detail, let us briefly introduce you to this dream sports bike.

A hypersport made to dominate the racetrack

The S 1000 RR 2021 can be summed up as a pole position roar.

Ten years after the first model, BMW has given this year's model a new, sharper and more forward-looking look. A minimalist design with an assertive sporty profile, perfectly reflecting the superior technical qualities of this power monster.

  • 207 horsepower for 197 kilos
  • a high-performance four-cylinder in-line four-stroke engine
  • a top speed that increases by 400 rpm, peaking at 14,600 rpm

Spectacular figures that announce the rage of this hypersportive, determined to remain in the legend.

A motorbike of superlatives, the S 1000 RR does not forget stability and safety in order to adapt to all riding situations. Whether you're a seasoned rider or you're looking for the perfect curve, this Bavarian missile will give you a thrill. One acceleration is enough to develop an incredible feeling with this new model.

Moto-Vision in mechanic mode

A good bike is also a bike that can be easily equipped. For three days, our team was interested in the fairings of the S 1000 RR by installing successively three poly of different brands, BikesplastArmour Bodies and TFP. A comparison will soon be available on our blog with the advantages of each of the products and our assembly advice.

The original tank cover, wheel washer and chain guide have also been replaced by carbon parts for an even sportier look.

We leave you with a video recap of three days of work.
