How to choose the right swingarm protection for your motorcycle?

To choose a suitable swingarm protection, it is essential to take into account your motorcycle model, its year and the type of swingarm. Made from carbon, the Moto Vision swingarm protections effectively protect your bike from stone chips and from rubbing caused by accessories such as diabolos or chain adjusters. Our parts are supplied without bolts or other fasteners. Their installation is simple and quick thanks to universal mounting systems or systems specific to certain models.

The carbon weave finish gives your bike a “racing” look used in competition. The inside of the part is painted matte black with the Kevlar visible.
 

Fitting a swingarm protection: simple and effective installation

Installing a swingarm protection is generally within reach of any careful rider. The mounting area must be clean, then the protection is fixed to the designated points using the screws, spacers or brackets supplied in the kit. Gradual tightening with the appropriate tool, and in line with the manufacturer’s recommendations, ensures a solid assembly without stressing the swingarm or unnecessarily marking the paint or clear coat.

Our fitting tips:

  • For track use and optimal grip, fix using adhesive with a polyurethane windscreen-type glue (available in the shop) or with nylon zip ties.
  • For road use, prefer bonding with a translucent sanitary-type sealant; this will allow removal simply by gently heating the part.
