The mo.blaze ice is Motogadget’s special LED turn signal. A familiar mounting component has been completely redesigned, fascinatingly engineered and implemented with technically sophisticated solutions.

Features of the M.Blaze Ice Motogadget turn signal

The mo.blaze ice has a very neutral and discreet appearance thanks to its transparent glass body, made from a scratch-resistant plastic. The small billet aluminium base is available in black anodised or mirror-polished finish.

The turn signal suits all styles, paint finishes and a wide variety of motorcycles. Thanks to Motogadget’s TranzLight® Technology (TLT, patent pending), the transparent turn signal body itself becomes a lighting element. TranzLight® Technology cleverly uses the total internal reflection of light waves. This progressive development approach goes beyond simply miniaturising turn signal housings: it directly shapes the light through a crystal-clear glass body. This new design and its function are only made possible through precise optical CAD calculations and state-of-the-art manufacturing processes.

The luminous flux required for the TranzLight® principle is generated by the IntensiLED® process developed by Motogadget and consists of three important components:

• A specially selected, phosphor-converted high-performance LED with maximum efficiency and a total power output of 3 W, providing a service life of more than 50,000 h
• A constant-current source operating at 330 kHz and controlled by an integrated circuit
• A special collimating optic that precisely injects the LED’s widely diffused light into the glass body

An important aspect of TranzLight® Technology is the additional safety provided by the increased visibility of the turn signal. The light is emitted across an angle of almost 180° and is therefore visible from the front, rear and side. The mounting turn signal is mechanically decoupled from the mounting thread by means of a flexible absorber and is thus protected against vibrations and mechanical effects. The turn signal can be used like any other LED turn signal with load resistors or with any of our load-independent turn signal relays (mo.flash, mo.wave, mo.stop, mo.relay+).

The mo.blaze ice protruding turn signal presented here bears an E-mark and is approved for use as both a front and rear turn signal.
