What is a Healtech ASDE steering damper eliminator module used for?
If you regularly ride on track and want to replace the original electronic steering damper, you may end up with the FI warning light coming on. Disconnecting the original damper from the motorcycle’s main wiring harness will immediately trigger the FI light (which could hide serious motorcycle or engine issues).
This is where the SD Eliminator steering damper eliminator module becomes very useful: simply plug it into the original damper connector and you’re ready to ride. The supplied instructions should always be followed carefully.
After disconnecting the factory electronic unit, we recommend using a high-quality aftermarket steering damper from a reputable brand or supplier (such as HyperPro, Öhlins, etc.)!
