What is a quick throttle used for on a motorcycle?
A quick throttle on a motorcycle refers to a throttle control system that reduces the rotation angle required to fully open the throttle: instead of having to twist the grip significantly, a shorter movement is enough.
A quick-action throttle therefore makes engine response more immediate and sportier, improving control during dynamic riding, especially on winding roads or on the track, while limiting hand adjustments and fatigue during repeated acceleration.
