The Oxymett lambda sensor eliminator for Ducati Diavel, Multistrada, Panigale(COX 001) provides a clear advantage for riders who modify engine management or install racing control units. By stopping the activity of the sensors, Oxymett prevents excessive leaning of the air/fuel mixture (this also applies when a racing control unit is installed).
Without Oxymett, your racing or additional control unit (including Ducati Performance!) will only take effect above 3400 rpm, as below this range its function is reduced by the lambda sensors.
Features of the Jetprime Oxymett lambda sensor eliminator JP COX 001
Lambda sensors continuously measure the oxygen level in the exhaust gases to adjust the air/fuel mixture. On a modified motorcycle, these sensors often readjust the fueling towards a leaner setting, preventing you from fully benefiting from the gains provided by a remap or an additional control unit.
Thanks to Oxymett, you temporarily neutralize the activity of the lambda sensors. This prevents the electronics from excessively leaning the mixture in response to non-original parameters. Without this eliminator, a racing control unit or additional module installed on a Ducati Diavel will only deliver its full efficiency above approximately 3400 rpm, as below this engine speed the lambda sensor feedback limits its action.
With Oxymett, engine management remains stable across the entire rev range, improving responsiveness and smoothness while allowing you to fully exploit modifications made to the intake, exhaust or mapping. In short, you achieve a more consistent and higher-performing engine response without lambda sensor corrections counteracting the optimization carried out.
