Why is there an error code after removing the light?

The motorcycle measures electrical consumption and if it no longer detects any resistance or load, it displays a fault on the dashboard. When you remove the rear light, the motorcycle often detects an electrical anomaly, which triggers a message or warning light on the dashboard. It sometimes remains stored in memory until it is cleared.

When you unplug the rear light, it thinks the bulb has blown or that the circuit is open. To avoid the error, Jetprime suggests using an electronic dummy load for track use.
