The SmartMoto Suzuki diagnostic switch DMT-001 activates dealer mode on fuel-injected Suzuki motorcycles (2004 and later). It replaces the bulkier original Suzuki part (Suzuki OEM - 09930-82720). 

 

The benefits of the SmartMoto diagnostic switch

The Smart ABS diagnostic switch is used to diagnose, understand and clear ABS faults without bulky equipment, while keeping direct access to the motorcycle’s most critical safety system.

The issue is that the manufacturer’s original tool is often bulky and clearly intended for workshop use, not for staying on the motorcycle. The SmartMoto product therefore replaces the original Suzuki part (Suzuki OEM - 09930-82720). 

Once installed, it allows you to activate ABS diagnostic mode directly on the motorcycle, with no disassembly or additional equipment. It is permanently installed on the motorcycle thanks to a fully waterproof installation kit and a 35 cm cable length.

 

How to use a SmartMoto diagnostic switch

The SmartMoto DMT-001 diagnostic switch activates “Dealer Mode” on fuel-injected Suzuki motorcycles (2004 and later) equipped with a 6-pin diagnostic connector. This mode provides access to the display of current and stored FI fault codes, as well as the TPS sensor adjustment bar, useful for diagnostics and setup.

Instead of riding blind or having to visit a workshop just to clear a code, the switch lets you immediately check whether the fault is still present.

It helps you distinguish a one-off fault from a real issue that requires repair. If the code returns after being cleared, it confirms that there is a fault to be addressed.
