This MOTOTEC 12V resistor simulates the consumption of a standard bulb in order to restore a normal electrical load in the circuit.

The cement housing is designed to efficiently dissipate the heat generated by the resistor, ensure greater durability and withstand the high temperatures related to electrical operation.

Advantages of the MOTOTEC 12V resistor

On many motorcycles, the original indicators use standard bulbs that consume more electricity. When these bulbs are replaced with LED indicators, the electrical consumption becomes much lower. The motorcycle’s electrical system may then detect an abnormal load and cause several issues:

indicators flashing too quickly (hyperflash)
irregular operation of the flasher relay
sometimes indicators that do not function properly
