Blackpot Restom 8830 allows the painting of steel silencers and exhaust lines. This paint is NOT suitable for stainless steel mufflers and cast iron headers.

Only available in satin black or satin aluminium grey.

Looking for a paint for your exhaust pipes? Blackpot Restom 8830 allows the painting of steel silencers and exhaust lines.
Blackpot Restom 8830 is applied in 2 coats at 4 hour intervals by brush on a degreased and derusted or sandblasted surface. You can also apply the paint by spray with diluant.

The product dries in the open air, but it is only after commissioning that the paint acquires all its properties by cooking through the heat of the engine when it is idling.

For 1 or 2 motorbike mufflers, allow 250 ml of paint and 500 ml for a complete car muffler.

Blackpot Restom 8830 is NOT suitable for stainless steel mufflers, nor for cast iron headers where Restom Collector 4070 is better suited. In case of direct outlet pipes, there is a risk of delamination on the first few centimetres in some rare cases.
To clean your equipment, we advise you to use diluant and acetone.
