The Akrapovic Racing Line exhaust system for YAMAHA MT-09 25 features a lightweight carbon fiber muffler sleeve, combined with stainless steel link pipes and headers, and finished with a titanium end cap, making it lighter than the original exhaust. The shorter muffler provides an enhanced sporty look and exits on the side of the motorcycle for added visual impact.

When installing the Racing Line (Carbon) exhaust system, the engine warning light will illuminate, making ECU remapping mandatory.

The Mounting kit 18611809 or the installation kit 8611784 is required for fitting the exhaust (references sold separately).

The Akrapovic Racing Line exhaust system for YAMAHA MT-09 25 features a lightweight carbon fiber outer muffler sleeve, stainless steel link pipes and headers, and a titanium end cap, resulting in an exhaust system that is 2.6 kg (36.5%) lighter than the stock unit. The exhaust has a shorter muffler to enhance the sporty appearance and exits on the side of the motorcycle to further boost visual appeal.

Back-to-back tests carried out on an MT-09 fitted alternately with the Racing Line exhaust (carbon) and the standard stock exhaust reported a power increase of 3.3 kW (4.5 hp) at 9,600 rpm. The sporty sound matches the engine perfectly, and the system is designed for use on tracks and closed racing circuits.

The system is compatible with hard cases and the Yamaha center stand. When installing the Racing Line (Carbon) exhaust system, the engine warning light comes on; ECU remapping is therefore essential.
